About Happy Mycelium
Happy Mycelium grew out of my YouTube channel, DaltonGrows, where I share practical, step-by-step videos about growing mushrooms at home.
I started growing mushrooms because they’re fascinating, beautiful, and incredibly rewarding to watch develop. Getting started, though, wasn’t always straightforward. Helpful information was scattered across forums and tutorials, and simple questions often came with overly complicated answers.
I built Happy Mycelium to make that first step easier: a place to find liquid cultures, understand what you need, and learn how to grow with confidence.
A Culture Is Just the Starting Point
Choosing a mushroom is exciting. Knowing what to do with it matters just as much. That’s why the shop sits alongside the tutorials and gear recommendations I share through DaltonGrows, to help you connect the culture you buy with the supplies and process you’ll use.
Whether you’re starting with oyster mushrooms or exploring species like Lion’s Mane, Reishi, or Pioppino, the goal is the same: make the process easier to understand and more enjoyable to follow.

What You’ll Receive
Each liquid culture syringe contains 10 mL of actively growing culture, packaged cleanly and shipped from California with tracking.
These are liquid cultures, rather than ready-to-fruit grow kits. You’ll need suitable growing supplies for your chosen species and method. If you’re unsure where to begin, my YouTube tutorials can help you understand the process before you order.
