Happy Mycelium started with my YouTube channel, DaltonGrows, where I make beginner-friendly videos about growing mushrooms at home.

I got into mushroom cultivation because mushrooms are fascinating, beautiful, and surprisingly rewarding to grow. But when I was learning, a lot of the information felt overly technical, intimidating, or scattered across forums and confusing tutorials.

I wanted to make mushroom growing feel simpler, more approachable, and more fun. That’s why I started Happy Mycelium, to give home growers a friendly place to find liquid cultures, growing resources, and clear guidance without all the jargon or gatekeeping.
